“Comestibles” is an autoethography project where personal experience and narrative is used as the basis for understanding cultural and social contexts. Everyday meals that I invent, photograph, and videotape, are composed of foodstuffs that pertain to a specific classificatory system. This classification is found in traditional medicine and it conforms to a cosmovision whereby the same laws govern humans and the environment. Excess or deficiency of one element causes disequilibrium and unbalance, therefore creating the risk of disease

The videos are shown in an installation table with accompanying AR tags. The tags are portals to augmented reality content such as a menu of ingredients used for each dish.
